Today marks the first day of winter! Happy Winter Solstice to everyone out there!
In keeping up with the tradition of doing updates, I got a bit to talk about today.
I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who has supported my social media accounts and website over the years. It’s no secret, but the tenkara community is amazing! I appreciate everyone who reads the posts and comments or sends me messages!
It’s been a great year, and definitely one to remember. Fishing always offers great experiences and great company. While I didn’t get to fish with as many friends this year, I can look back on a few great outings where I got to share the rivers with some great people. I will admit that part of the reason for not connecting with as many anglers was due to a little experiment that I wanted to try over the season. I won’t go too far into it as it will be the main focus for articles and posts in 2024.
With that being said, this update is also serving as my last post for a little while. Every year I like to take a little break from social media and posting, and the way things line up this year with holidays and such I figure this would be a good time to sign off. During this time away, I will be getting articles ready for the new year so we can hit the ground running!
Lastly, I wanted to say that along with my own articles, I will be working on more for the Heritage Tenkara Project. Amanda and I will still be sharing posts on the website and socials, so keep your eyes peeled for more articles coming out!
