Hello everyone, and happy Lunar New Year!
In keeping up with tradition, I’m here to share an update on what to expect from me in 2025.
I’ll start it off with the main idea that I wish to relay…I am shifting my focus away from my personal project (Sageheart) to focus more of my time and energy on Heritage Tenkara Project.
One of my goals when I started Sageheart was to be able to create a resource that I wish I had when I was starting out. I think I did alright in that goal, but I also feel that with more experience, and a different approach to things, Heritage has greater potential than just posts revolving around my personal fishing experiences.
So as far as this site goes, you’ll be seeing less from me this coming year. That’s not saying I’m abandoning it completely. I still plan to share some posts, but I can’t say exactly how frequent they will be. I do have a little series of posts in the works, but I don’t quite have a timeline as to when they will be done. I may just start releasing them as they are finished, even though it might make for an unpredictable release pattern.
I am also hoping to share some journal entry posts or maybe even some monthly recaps as we move through the warmer months of the year, but I guess it will all depend on how inspiration strikes me, and what I feel is worth sharing here.
I appreciate all who have been supportive over the years, and all the connections I’ve made in the fishing community! I’m looking forward to seeing where new paths lead, and to sharing more in the coming months, whether it’s on this site, or on the Heritage Tenkara Project website. So, with that, here’s to 2025!
