5 Years of Tenkara

Back in August, I hit a personal milestone - 5 years of practicing tenkara.

In some ways, it’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years since I first picked up a tenkara rod. I think it’s partly due to the amount of great experiences I’ve had because of fishing, and more specifically, fishing with a tenkara rod.

I look back to where I began, and the amount of progress I’ve made, as well as the amazing people I’ve had the honor of meeting and fishing with in that time. Many of the friends I stay most connected with are anglers from all over the country.

This isn’t necessarily meant to be a long post, but more of a photo dump for some of my favorite shots from some of my favorite experiences over the years.
