Over the past few months, my good friend Amanda and I have been working on a new website. The idea was to create a free resource that encourages inclusivity and growth within the angling community.
We all come from different backgrounds and experiences. But we all seek something through nature. For many of us, our connection to nature is furthered by fishing, and the method of fishing we prefer to use to further that connection is tenkara.
We believe everyone deserves to find their space in nature. We hope that, with this website, we can encourage more people to pick up a tenkara rod and get out on the water to fish.
Regardless of what kind of fishing background you may come from, or even if you’ve never fished before, we plan to bring articles that can help bring better experiences to anyone and everyone who is interested in tenkara.
The first article, titled “New to Tenkara? What Rod Should You Buy?” is now live on the site. Along with that, there is a section called “Meet the Team” where you can find more information about Amanda and I, as well as links to find our socials. I hope you take a look and follow along as we build upon what we have and form a more complete resource for everyone!
